What do you get when you take the comfortable construction, delicate details, and vintage appeal of all your Baybala favorites and translate them into cozy loungewear for women and littles? Perfection, that’s what.

These are sets meant for lounging and enjoying coffee late into the morning. “I am not someone who jumps out of bed and changes” says Baybala’s Creative Director Katie Gaston “I want to be able to pitter-patter around my house comfortably and hang with my family and kids without having to change.”

To create something a little different and decidedly feminine for the women’s silhouette, Katie steered clear of ubiquitous button-down styles in favor of a swingy, collarless top with a yolked detail in the back, a draw-cord waistband, pockets (cell phone sized!), and a flowy, banded pant. In a word: flattering. 

For littles, Katie stuck to gender-neutral cut that makes sense for boys and girls. In a nod to the women’s look, it’s collarless, too. 

The soft green prints for both were dreamed up in tandem with SCAD-grad and illustrator Karla Pruitt of Helmsie. “Our Piedmont pattern features classic flora and fauna,” says Karla.  “And we are so honored to share it with Baybala because the brand shares our heirloom-inspired outlook and has been part of our most memorable moments with our families.” 

The whole collection is also super low-maintenance and machine washable. 

Best of all, the women’s collection is so polished you could easily wear the separates during the day. “ A half tuck in the front and let the gathered back swing over some cute denim, I mean so cute!” Katie says. “ And honestly, the pants could be worn with a white button down and that would be a great look too.I love that the cuff at the bottom gives it a nice clean finish.”
